My thoughts
I loved how this book weaved the three main characters stories throughout, cleverly only revealing, what I as the reader needed to know. I loved the perfect wife and mother, Marisa. The intriguing, Elly and the dedicated police officer, Claire. Each character had their own problems and author, Nicola Marsh, swept me up in their lives.
As the story unfolded, the problems became more complex with the arrival of Jody, the young pregnant woman. This is when the pace really ramps to lightning speed. The misdirection in this story was superb. I suspected everyone of everything at one point, then I suspected some of them of one crime but not another. My head was everywhere – full of possibilities.
If you enjoy a ‘who done it’ that’s wrapped in scandal and secrets, this is your book. And, the ending is wow! Fab read.
